Why use Virtual Lab?

• It is like you are sitting on campus - no passwords required!
• Access all the programs available while seated on campus - all items available from the START menu.
• Must be a currently enrolled student to download.
• Versions available for Mac or Windows users.

You can get electronic books (E Books) from campus or home. 

To access Net Library off-campus, you have to have two things:

•      You must have set up the Net Library account ON CAMPUS 
•     You must use the student number and password you selected when you set up the account (On Campus, remember?)

Setting up a Net Library account

If you are on campus, to set up the Net Library account for E books, go HERE. (or type "netlibrary.com" in the browser window).

Once there, use your STUDENT ID and password.  You will receive an email confirmation in your student email account inbox.

This access may be faster than through the several steps required when accessing this database through the Virtual Lab.

Access to GALILEO is free; student access on campus does not require a password.  From home, you need to have your 924 number and go HERE to retrieve the GALILEO Password.  (Or go to "Off Campus? Get a Password," on the right menu of the library page.

DO NOT use your social security number.  Use your student ID (924).

The JSTOR database also requires a password off campus.  You'll use your 924 number and follow the directions.

If you access GALILEO through the Virtual Lab, all databases are available for research.
